Dr. Rouhollah Khodabandelou 

HELP University

 

Dr. Rouhollahis Assistant Professor of Educational Technology at the HELP University, Malaysia. He received his BA and MSc from Arak University, Iran. Rouhollah completed his PhD in the field of Educational Technology at UPM, Malaysia. His research interests lie in technology implementation in education, ICT and multimedia in education, community of inquiry, social, teaching, and cognitive presence. In recent years, he has focused on online and blended learning environments, research tools and data analyzing software such as SPSS and Amos. He has collaborated actively with researchers in several other disciplines such as HRD, educational psychology, particularly curriculum and instruction.

 

He has published numerous journal articles in the field and has presented several papers in international conferences. Dr. Rouhollah also served as international conference programme committee, journal reviewer, conference reviewer, and newsletter contributor. Rouhollah has taught computer applications in education, production and application of instructional materials, selection and utilization of instructional materials, production of instructional films and other related courses on undergraduate programmes.

Sheis an academic staff of the Department of Mathematics and Science Education, Faculty of Education, University of Malaya.

 

Her recent affiliation and role include visiting research professor, 2014 at the Center for Science and the Schools (CSATS), The Pennsylvania State University, USA; a member of the European Science Education Research Association, 2013-2015, and editorial board member of the EURASIA JOURNAL OF MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (EJMSTE), TURKEY, 2005-2014.

 

Her areas of  expertise are Science Teacher Education, Science Education (Teaching & Learning, Technology Integration in Science Education), Science Curriculum Development and Innovation, and Qualitative Research Methodologies.
